I hoe you all are just interested in thinking about coffee and cozy afternoons right now. Since its the Saturday night after an all day volleyball tournament and I don't have time or mental energy to write a good post, its going to be short. But I promise, I will have a post without a recipe or something pumpkin related, just a look inside my head (that's not trying to convince you to make this) sometime this week.
Copycat Pumpkin Spice Latte
Recipe Source: The Sweet {Tooth} Life
Yield: 1 serving
3/4 cup brewed coffee
1/2 cup milk (I used low fat)
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon pumpkin purée (opt)
Combine all the ingedients and shake/stir well. Heat and serve or chill in the refrigerator.
I'm so looking forward to a cozy relaxing afternoon! It's been crazy hot here these days... which makes working in the fields way worse :(( This latte looks so amazing though! x
ReplyDeleteCozy relaxing afternoons are my favorite. It was really warm yesterday and then the temp dropped to 50 degrees! Crazy weather! Thanks Consuelo!
DeleteI like the idea of a warm pumkin drink since its has been soooo cold out here my dad had to put on a jacket today. To bad I dont like coffee might have to share with my coffee loving mom though.
ReplyDeleteI used to not like coffee either, but now I drink it black. This, however, tops my plain coffee! Maybe you'll like it, too? :) Thanks!
DeleteThis sounds so delicious! I work at a coffee shop and the pumpkin spice lattes are so popular right now. Yours sounds so good!
ReplyDeleteI know, I hear about them all the time! I finally tried it and now I'm hooked. Except, mine doesn't cost $5, which makes me AND my mom happy! :)
DeletePerfect for those cool fall mornings! Luckily it hasn't gotten down into the 40s and 50s in Boston yet though!
ReplyDeleteIts only cold in the mornings here ... just a reminder in a couple months it will be that way all the time!
DeleteI like the cheaper option idea. :) And is that an Aldi brand I spy?
ReplyDeleteYep, that's where Mom got it. I always like cheaper, too! :)
DeleteI'm not a coffee drinker (tea is my weakness) but I'm passing this on to my friends who will fall madly in love with this latte!
ReplyDeleteOoh, my favorite is a chai tea latte! I might have to try a copycat of that, too ... Thanks Pamela!
DeleteFall is not complete for me without a pumpkin spice latte!
ReplyDeleteYou got it, Erin!
DeleteMmmm, warm pumpkin spice lattes on a cold day just sounds like heaven!! ;)
ReplyDeleteI agree, can't wait for a super cold morning!
DeleteI love how you mix up your posts with drinks, breads, dessert, snack mix, muffins, ect. You never know what delightful surprise is next! The pictures on this post are BEAUTIFUl, too. I don't even like coffee, but this looks delicious! And I am STILL impressed you figured out the right proportions the first time you tried this! Thumbs up! And, I am impressed you make the time to post this much, let alone take great pictures, during volleyball season! You are such a good time-manager!
ReplyDeleteThank you Hannah! Your words are so sweet and even more fun to read a month later!
